Well, I killed my transmission, finally. I can get it rebuilt and have the problems return later or replace it and I had a few questions. With my 1999 CC R/T and my current mods (Mopar PCM, Mopar M1, K&N cold air, ported TB, Mopar headers, no cats, 4 inch single pipe split at the muffler, and a B&M racing trans cooler), what would be the best option for a new transmission (links)? I'd like something that will last a while and be able to possibly handle more mods (2.02" heads, possibly a supercharger). The guys at the local Dodge dealership are suggesting upgrading to 46RE transmission and said the only change needed would be to mod the starter shroud to fit correctly. Can a 46RE bolt up and work well with PCM and it's programmed shift points? Thanks for any help.
