5.2 4x4, auto, if I start out in first to race someone and go up the gears manually with this mess up my trans. Its alot quicker when i do this put if im really going to mess it up i ll stop doing it. i just don t like being beat by a cadillac

They don't really like to be shifted that way unless you install shift kit like a TransGo deal. Then it'll be even better, and overall durability will improve.
