I've read alot of conflicting stories as to what plugs work well in a 4.7...I'm hoping we can get some good info in this thread.

I will tell you though, you have no plug wires on a 4.7. It uses COP (coil on plug) ignition with a coil for every plug.

I went with Autolite 3293 plugs. If I remember right, they burn 1 step cooler than the factory plugs.

I have been running them for the last 34k miles.

I run them with HO cams and a Superchips tuner too.

Bosch Platinum +4's 4418 with HO cams, homebrew air intake, Magnaflow y-pipe/cat/Flowmaster 70 duals. 40K trouble-free miles on plugs.

With all that stuff, who knows if the plugs make any difference? I have a fairly stock 03 4.7 4X4 QC. Switched to the bosch platnum +4 and got a smoother idle and 1-2 mpg increase.

I read somewhere that running platinum plugs can burn out the coils.
I changed mine to plat about 3000 miles ago and was worried if I should change them back. Maybe 3923's. What do you all think about this bit o info.
