O.K. I raced my friends super charged 350 chevy powered monte carlo sunday at the drag strip. His first time slip was faster than mine so I talked him into giveing me the break. He never could catch me and we ran twice. All that hard work starting to pay off.

So how many "bolt ons' before it isn't stock?
if you just have the usual intake/exhaust mods, a S/C 350 MC should hand you your a$$. Must have been B.S. or something was wrong with his car.
What WERE the times? You said you had "slips" so surely you would have HELD onto those???

If you mean "giving you the break" is giving you a head start I'm not sure how you can call it a kill. Especially after he beat you the first time.

Yes bolt-on's meaning nothing in the stock 360 motor was changed, except exhaust, intake, and ect.......We never raced heads up because I would have lost. he ran 8.83, I ran 9.14. So he gave me the break so it would be a more even race. If you want to see pics go to www.streetcarforums.com

The only reason I won was because he doesn't have any gear in the rear end. You guy's can pick this apart if you want, but me and the guy I ran, and the guy taking the pics are going to call it a win.

9.14 in the 1/4 mile with bolt ons ??? I bolted on a supercharger, headers, MSD, 4.10 rear (the list goes on) and cant come close to that.
