I think with higher mileage they suggest replacing the springs too right? Well,,the HO's aren't the different from stock really... I swapped mine w/like 70-80Kmi.s on my 4.7 - no problems so far - knock on wooden lucky glass inlaid buddha........

Good to see that your back and still in one piece. Those cams will be a nice improvement with a lighter 2wd. A superchips is now finally available also. Makes a nice chirp when our auto's shift from first to second.

I bought new valve cover gaskets with my HO cams install, although you can use the old ones. The cams are probably still the best single mod on a 4.7.

I would go with something a little more aggressive, simply because changing the cams is a lot work for just 25 HP. http://www.krcperformance.com

Mofinwiley, from another forum used a 218 in his truck and only had problems, with the vacum while turning and braking hard @ the same time.
