I have a few questions, mainly regarding the precat removal. I want to run a mid length header, and know it requires the removal of the precat. what can I do to fool the computer, I know KRC offers a cat box, but their website doesn't say how much it costs... does anyone else offer a component that fools the computer? I'm not too concerned with emissions, as I don't require a sniffer test. I can do whatever welding is required, and can manage the install myself, just curious what I can do to remove the precat without tripping my check engine light.
Has anyone done headers on a 01 R/T, and can you give me some pointers as to what problems, promotions you had from doing this mod? I want more horsepower ( yeah, don't we all!) but don't wnat to sacrifice my torque too much. I've run out of mods that I can do for under 250, and its looking like exhaust, cam, roller rockers, 52mm TB, and R/T heads are the way I'm going, in that order as money is available... (btw GOD DAM parts for Dodge Magnum are expensive!!!) I've done a list of mods, the main ones are --- FIPK, modified factory intake, port and polish intake ports and head port and polish (intake side), modified stock TB, and many smaller mods.

the best thing to do is to drill in to the exhaust and put a mount in for the o2 sensor
