I'd like to do it in person, SE TX area, so I can get cash, and we can install it right there to make sure it works.

This one works great on my 4.7, right out of the box, no send back for reprogramming on this one.

If your 4.7 is nearly stock, you'll see more gains than I did, and mine were good. This works on all the Dak engines except 3.7 I think.
98-03 3.9, 4.7, 5.2, and 5.9
03-5.7
Dyno was posted.

Why should a stock Dak see more gains than you did ? If anything, they should see less. After all, this works by increasing ignition advance and maybe fuel mapping; If anything, being combined with exhaust, intake and cam mods such as you have should make the % increase to power even higher for a higher power modded motor. These mods should all work together for combined power gain; its not like adding the chip to a flashed PCM where they're both doing the same thing...

Mr/mrs. hmmm,

Often, the 4.7, has had the 'death flash', which further retards the timing a bit. I don't mean a greater total HP necessarily, but more gain from the stock, often 'death flashed' motor. Someone posted dyno's from a basically stock 4.7, auto, and got a 13hp increase. His 'performance' or max, was less than my non SC's dyno. But he still had alot more gain over HIS stock than I did. That's all I meant. It's dyno proven to work though! Unlike the Jet Chrap, I mean chip.

I think the gains largely depend on the amount of ignition advance already in the PCM. I don't think the "death flash" is really all that common for the 4.7, but there can be other variables. For one, I suspect auto transmission trucks come with less advance than standards, so they might have more to gain.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way

"Dollar$ per Horsepower" is the route I take for drivetrain mods; Todd seems to subscribe to the same idea. The HO cams were still the best "bang for the buck" for my 4.7, so far.
