Well I was going to order some HO cams for my 4.7 at the end of february from KRC, at least until I checked their site today.
What gives?? HO cams for $329?!?!?!?? It was $279 a week or two ago?
Does anyone know where I can buy a set of HO cams for the real OEM price of $250 for both?

what just happend!!! i was at there site just yesterday.. i was goin to wait and get mine after taxes but im just gonna have to get them now but not from krc.. what gives it their oem shafts better than everyone elses? but there is hope try www.socaldakota.com $235 shipped

I havent been able to get in contact with KRC .. Im starting to build a 408 and i need some piston info ...... 4 emails later and 2 phone calls and no type of answer .. i cant even get him to answer his phone .....

Forseti, keep trying them, I stopped in the other day but Marty was out because his daughter was really sick and the last couple of times I drove by it looked like the bay doors were shut.

Why pay that much for the HO cams anyway when you can step up to the real cams? (212& 224's)?

There is a big difference like $500 dollars and 212 prob wont get you thru amissions i would go with krc 206 if i could afford to drop 750$ on cams

Emissions? What is that? Seriously, the difference between the itty bitty 200's compared to the mild 206's is a day and night difference, plus I happen to know the 218's passed emissions if that is a requirement for someone. I would spend $750 on cams long before bolting on $500 headers and some $500 exhaust on the 4.7's. Just my opinion though.

good point you do the gains to price of other aftermarket parts to get the same gain you would spend more but you gotta have a good intake and exhoust to make them cams perform right.. and ive head the 206 are good for them mods and also an auto trans?

Kind of tough to forget a good ignition when it comes already with the 4.7 - nice coil on plug design. The 4.7 loves more spark advance if you can get that flashed in, but I didn't think this thread was really about ignition...
