 Subject: Hows this setup in an 88?

I have an 88 Longbed. I want to know if the setup im putting together is going to be worth dropping it in there.
318 Stoker, Bored .080 Over, 360 Roller cams and rockers, CAIntake, Msd ignition. SMP Injection (yes im converting to handle it) along with the proper ECM and PCM for that. A beefed up transmission (unsure of what to use but i want it to be a manual) driveshaft and rear end.
Its mostly going to be my "night prowler" and "sunday driver" so i want it to be at least somewhat drivable in the street. But i still want that fear inspiring power, to scare all the freaking ricers. Is all that worth it, or is there more i can do? Ideas on what to do with the drive train would be great. Thanx
