Look at the DynoMax Super Turbo 17748 also. The sound is different than the Flowmaster 40, and I enjoy it much more. It starts off ricey, but after the inside begins to burn, it sounds very close to a V8 at times. Many have mistaken my V6 for a V8 at idle. It's also very inexpensive, if that is a concern.

no flowcraper all suck and are not needed... the best
way for you to go is with gibson it puts out the best
sound on a dodge and all you need to do on to of that is
a automatic cut out and a good set of headers and yo'll
have all the ladies taking off their pants

Get a Flowmaster balance pipe kit which is just an H-pipe that needs to be welded together and run two 40 series mufflers 2.5" should do the trick. Had a friend with this setup on a 00 3.8 Mustang. It was the only V6 I've ever heard that sounded like a V8 at any rpm. Deep, powerful growl at low rpms. Three different times we've been to a Ford dealership and people would comment on how nice his GT sounded(it had 00 GT wheels) and all three times when he told him it was a V6 they argued with him until he popped the hood. The guys were shocked. I was truly impressed with this system. Before the H-pipe he ran a 2.5" true dual setup with 40 series Flows and it sounded loud sitting at idle, but under acceleration, the higher pitch of the V6 became noticable.
