my question is what cam to use? KRC 210 or custom grind 224/230 578/578 lift with my 1.7s 112 LSA? My stock heads have been ported with a 5 angle valve job and I have m1 intake, free flowing exhaust(kenne bell midlengths into 2.5" y pipe into 3 inch), 52 mm tb, mike leach custom flash....etc etc in my 318 now. I would love to get my 360 in the low 13s high 12s on motor. What do I need to do to reach that goal? I also plan on blueprinting and balancing and getting my compression up to 10.5:1. Thanks for any advice.

On the custom grind are you counting the extra lift the 1.7 give you over 1.6 if not 578 + the extra lift the 1.7 will give I would think is to much.

I'd go with the Custom ground cam, around a 3000 stall converter and 4.10 gears. This should work well with your ported heads and M1 intake. If you can get that 10.5 to 1 compression I'd say low 13's or high 12's are very acheivable.

Well I've got 3.92 posi and a 5 speed with a Centerforce dual friction clutch. 4.10s shouldn't be that different.

With a 5-speed you'll be fine with 3.92's. You should end up with a very stout truck. Your ET goals should be a reality with traction.
