 Subject: Loss of performance in 3rd gear???

I ran my truck at the track last week and was able to do pretty good in 1st and 2nd gear but it felt like i lost a lot of power when i shifted to third and 4th. They were only doin 1/8 mile runs and i got a 10.19, not sure what that would be in a quarter but is there anything else i can do performance wise to boost that?
I have mbrp cuda exhaust, no cat, intake, throttle body spacer, 8mm wires, and 180 tstat

Thats about a low 15 (15.2) in the 1/4 mile.
Have you had it on a dyno to see if it actually is losing power?
find out if actually do have a problem, it makes it easier to fix. manual or auto?

No i havent but that sounds like a good idea now i just have to find one around here... It is a manual which is why i might have a friend of mine who works on trannys see if he has a little extra time and wants to drop mine out and take a look at it

Get a Higher ratio rear axle 3.92 or higher to 1..

Im pretty sure thats the axle that is in there now... ill have to check the original window sticker but im almost positive thats what it is

of course you are lising power in 3rd. you will lose even more power in 4th. called gear ratios.

that od is for milage not performance, do not use it at the track. Something you may be encountering when shifting into 3rd is that the convertor is locking up, again a gas milage improver.
