A Superchips Microtuner should be available for your application in the later part of this year. Thanks for the inquiry.

Any plans on a programmer for the 4.7????
It seems to be one of the least supported for PCM programmers. Yet there is a large amount of people seeking programmers for this engine.
Is it lack of support ( I wouldn’t think so) or just a tough PCM to crack?
I’ve got the 2003 4.7 in my Dakota. I am curious to know if I should hold my breath.
Any info appreciated. Shawn

Sorry. That was from SUPERCHIPS.
Here is my reply from JET who I also asked a question about their module they show available for my truck...
Our module is not user adjustable, nor is it a programmer. We modify timing and fuel only. No modification to speed or rev limiters on your vehicle.
Forget that sh*t! I think the superchips one seems better, but it isn't out yet.

I spoke with the Diablo guys at the Bowling Green NMRA shootout last weekend about the 4.7l unit. They said they have something coming out around the first of the year for us. I asked them why it took so long, & they said the Hemi project took priority over the 4.7l.

I read that thread. How is that site over there?
I go to Dodge Trucks website sometimes but it's got a lot more attention to RAMS and HEMI's than Dakota's. I rarely visit that site.

Has anyone actually had any performance gains from the JET chips? I have heard nothing positive about these "power chips" from our customers. I have had to remove many of these due to driveability/electrical issues and every customer that I talk to about them tell me that they did absolutly nothing for performance other than lighten their wallets.

Yeah. I screwed up when I posted this thread about JET when it was Superchips that seemded to be the ones building the Micro "tuner".
I emailed JET and they said their "chip" only modifes fuel and ignition curves. Doing nothing for the rev limiter, etc.
I think the JET is just an inline deal on your harness that tweaks some circuits like adding reisitance to your IAT circuit, etc. Sh*t we can do if we want to.
BTW. My check engine light would come one every few weeks with the resister on the IAT. Since removing it my light never came back on.

Another recent website is www.dakotatrucks.com. The biggest problem with all these great sites is that your hands are on the keyboard instead of your Dak LOL!
