DaffyDak: What size tires are you running?! My 4.7 4X4 has the same mods (plus a true dual exhaust) and I can't lay stripes. I have 265/75/16 BFG Radial TA ko tires.

Opie, I have 31x10.5 R15s right now. They are the crappy stock goodyear wrangler RT/S. maybe when I get some decent tires, I will just hook and go :-)
I have some BFGoodrich Land Terrain Tires on order now... the wranglers aren't any fun in the rain either!!

That was a cool burnout.
You just can't do kick a$$ burn outs like that with a FWD. RWD rules. Still.

One time I did a burn out in front of a friends house with my Ford Mustang I think it was. He lived two houses down the street.
Smoke was everywhere.
30 minutes later he came knocking at my door. Holding about a 3" in diameter rubber ball in his hand.
I'm like, "what the he11 is that?"
He says, "Dude. This is your tire."
I'm like "what do you mean that is my tier?"
He then says "Dude. This is your tire. I just scraped this off of the street in front of my house!"

Here is an OLD video of my project Mustang. I mean this video is almost 10 years old. It's the only video I have of myself doing a burnout.
The car wasn't anything special. Just a beater I made go fast. Really fast.
At the time of this video it still had the auto (which I eventually burned up and swapped in a 5 speed for). What sounds like me shifting gears is me letting off of the gas breifly each time the tach read 7K RPM's! If you listen closely at the very begining idle you can hear the massive lope of the camshaft.

Old Burnout
Right click and select "save as". Sometimes these links don't work if you just click on them and they open in WMP.

I should be getting some new tires for my Dak soon. Only 22K miles and they are almost bald now.
I'll definitely make a shred video to finish them off. I too love burn outs and burn out videos.

I've got some other funny burnout videos on this page.
My hillbilly friend in his Hillbilly deluxe Chevy truck.
One video is cool when he accidentally goes sideways in a parking lot and nearly wacks a building.
