What is the best way to hook up a dry kit...here is my setup:

nx incognito kit
i have the line going into my airhat through the valve cover
breather house. Its in there tight, i made a hole smaller than the
nitrous line and squeezed it in there so it would be sealed. Its a
5.2, i shot the 50 shot and it was cool but it doesnt set you back
in your seat at all, it just seems like a helper.....I know its only a
50 shot but i have heard better responses about how the 50
shot worked compared to my response. BTW i can't hook the line
through my IAT port because thats where my boost gauge is
feeding from....is there a more efficient way to route a dry kit?

Well first what motor is it. If it is a 5.9 the dry kit does not work on it the fuel press. reg. is inside the fuel tank and it is not vacume operated it keeps the pressure at 55psi electronicly.
Also are you turbo or supercharged?

It's the 5.2, i have an inline fuel pump that i wired into my
ignition wire, im getting up to 70 psi under boost, i have 24 lb
injectors and its supercharged. I figured if i put a 50 shot on top
of all that boost it would add a little more punch but it really
didnt feel like anything. I am prepping my engine to take a 150
shot but im going to run that wet. Is dry not as powerfull as wet?
Is there a more direct way to hook it up? Anything? I would like
to eventually run both kits.....50 shot dry in 1st gear, then when
the engines screaming in third, shoot the 150 wet shot ;).

the 5.9 you can not run a dry kit because of the fuel press reg being in the tank and not having a vacume line you will have to just use the wet.The dry kit works by pushing more vacume in to the fuel press reg doing such reslts in more fuel out your injectors, if you just spray then there is no way the fuel system knows that your are actually spraying- result no extra fuel- result no perfomance and some pre detonation.
I run a 125 shot (wet) off of the line and when I get my slicks I am gong to do a 150 with a lot of timing retard. you being boosted and all prob. want to take out like at least 6 degrese. If you are wanting to do a small shot off of the line an gradually go up in each gear they have a unit called progressive nitrous controller and what it does is that it keeps the same jets but just does momentary shots so it acts as a small shot so you can get traction or just to wait for a higher gear. the settings go from gear to gear and in rpm increments, it is sold by nx. That is going to be the only way you can set that up.

how is that 125 shot off the line? Is it the nx express
kit? How hard was it to hook up the wet kit? Maybe the
dry shot is a waste of time.........is the way i have it
hooked up doing anything? should i move the hose to a
better location?

If the track is preped good I can get traction in 2nd. I have a stock motor and I am hitting low 14s without slicks. The wet kit is verry simple, you have a shrader valve on your fuel rail (It is like a car tire valve) you unscrew the valve stem and that is where you hook it up to it is very easy it took me 2 hours to complete. I have the zex corvette kit it works perfect for the 5.9. Any dry kit will not work on the 5.9 it will do nothing but break your motor. You need to purchase a wet kit for the 5.9 to work with nitrous.

You keep pointing out that the dry kit won't work on the 5.9, but he keeps saying he has the 5.2ltr. Is the 5.2 the same set-up as the 5.9?

Well dude all I can say is, if you keep using the dry kit then you better have some money to fix the things you break in the motor. And if you are not getting what I am saying THE DRY KIT DOES NOT WORK IN YOUR TRUCK PERIOD!!!! It does not put fuel in because there is no vacume to the fuel pres reg.

I looked around and noticed other people using dry kits and talking about them. I have 24lb injectors and about high 60's to 70 psi of fuel pressure. Wouldnt the nitrous just mix with the fuel that my motor is injecting? Either way it should cool the intake temperature to make my supercharger work more efficiently.....
