I was looking for a more powerful Starter(need substitute stock one) to work on my R/T with higher compression ratio than stock one..

Having a hard time starting my truck with alcohool and supercharger.....

Do you guys know about anything available for the 5.9L R/T engine?

Thanks in advance!

That is going to be a tough one there. Have you thought of a compression relief valve of some sort? I doubt you will find a tougher starter that will fit the factory mounts. You might can talk to a auto electric shop to see if the could install some stronger internals

Thanks, guys.

I´ll check that Mancini´s Starter out.

I need to try at least 4-5 times to start my truck with alcoohol.

That is including that truck has a complete Malory ignition system(6al and powermaster coil) with Msd 8.8 wires and 3923´s Autolites.

The problem with alcoohol occurs on cold days temperatures below 9 degres celcius..... *^(

all chrysler starters for the smallblocks will bolt up, even pre magnum. i run a starter from a 99 dak v8 on my 79 lil red express truck. The older ones were under powered and oversized. i know theres gotta be companies that make hi torque starters. try some ads in some mopar magizines. im sure you will find one in there
