 Subject: Noise in engine compartment

I have 2003 QC. I put a homebrew intake on it. I located the IAT sensor in the intake tube. While running my A/C It sounds like the compressor/ condenser is making alot of noise or could this be the intake itself sucking in air. I have tried to listen for the noise with hood up and moving the throttle with the A/C running. Sorry for the long post but just hoping someone can help me out.

is it a rattly sound that speeds up or slows down with the engine? if so you are very low on 134a and in need of a charge, put a bottle in mine the sound went away and the A/C worked better.
