Well since no ones posted about the volant intake then I guess I will. I've got it on my '02 3.9 and am very pleased with the performance gains. I've had my foot in it since I've put it on and relocated the iat so I can't say about mileage gain. Not sure which flows better but I'm happy with the volant.

Yeah, I would say they probably flow about the same. Truckperformance.com was having a sale on the volants for my truck so that's what made up my mind about which one to get. I got it for around $185 shipped. One thing I forgot to mention was that I had to bend the mounting brackets slightly to get everything to line up.

Be careful when you install. I had one on my 3.9 and had to take it off.
It did not seat right the top of my TB and was letting in unfiltered air. Was making a hissing sound I took it all apart and found it was not molded right when manufactured. Could have been just the one I had but not worth the unfilted air in my engine.

John Harden, first I put the Mopar Performance cold air on my truck, which was the first thing I did. It fit perfect with the exception of one vacuum line which requires a hose clamp, as the kit is for '01-'03, not an '04. But that is the only mod required to make it work. After that I got a custom cat-back. These both gave me noticable gains and the sound is great. Have a Zex nitrous kit awaiting installation...I'll let you know how that turns out. I definately recommend the intake..pricy but worth it. If you live anywhere near Maryland I can get you a discount on one.
