I ran across this cool intercooler (although pricey). Looks like it should fit most s/c installations on our dakotas. I emailed them for more info on the actual size.

The salesman thinks the intercooler unit is about 4" in dia and about 10" long. Should fit nicely between the s/c and air hat with no mods.
