Subject: Jet, stage 1 or 2?

I have a 2000 4.7L dak. All I've done to it is put the Airaid intake on and homebrew the piping for it and added a Flowmaster 40 series muffler, single 3 inch in/ dual 2.5 inch outs. I am going to also swap out my t-stat for the 180. I was looking at getting a Jet Chip for my truck b/c I've heard more good things than bad about them. I just wasn't sure which to get. I don't see myself adding headers or swapping cams or anything in the very near future, so I thought I could just go with the stage 1, but it says that the stage 2 is meant for low temp t-stats. I also wasn't all too thrilled about having to have to run 93 octane all the time. Help please? Thanks.

Got to kennebell.com and get the Optimizer II for the 4.7L. Or better yet get a hold of some one at krcperformance.com. They can flash a program into you computer that will be awesome. Both of these things require sending you computer in. Which means a little down time for your truck. BUT...you should spend your money on something that has real results. A jet chip doesn't have any results.

Ran a Jet stage 2 for quite some time. What a POS. Save your
money for something that will actually benefit you!!!
