I want to throw this out to be kicked arround.. I had My 2001 Dak 7000 Miles, KB Blown 4.7 on the Dyno after I finished installing it and testing out the ride.. The RWT and RWH has me a bit concerened as if they just told me what I wanted to hear.. The Truck now runs good ET`s and Fair MPH I don`t have the slip in front of me at the time but I remember the #`s to be 225 RWHP Peak and 335 FTLBS RWTQ do these numbers sound right for the Little Eng. That could.. Has anyone had thers done on a Dyno so I can compare it.. I added only a few things beside the Blower a mild port on the heads.. a New TB. Cold Plugs
180* Thermostat and tweaked the EMC from the KB setting with no Knock under accel.I now have my .100 Spray Nozzel for my Water/Alky. I found that with the 8PSI boost I am running and the screw design of the KB Supercharger it is not really needed, for knock but a bit more TQ I will have to spend money again to put it back on a Dyno to set it up "the Kick in" and Pressure.

Seems way off to me. You should be right around 300rwhp with 8psi. Something is amiss.

What/Why did you do to port the heads on a 7K truck????

Plus HP should be higher (300 maybe) on a KB at 8 psi, what did you do to your exhaust system? A stock system will not be favorable to a supercharger.

I had a stroke... and the truck sat for quite a while and I just fig. I would increase the HP a bit with Jet Chip clean up the heads but found not much you can remove and there has only been 2 sets of ported heads were sold in this part of the world.. none of these really put out what I wanted.. Dual Exaust 5" core muffler with twin 2.5 out let.. A diff T/B I have tryed 2 diff TBs the last a FastMan.. When I got the Blower it put out 6PSI then later I noticed it bounce to 10PSI hold there under WOT and then drop off to 8 PSI then when the Eng. caught up with it went to showing Vacume. and this is how it is supposed to work as it will go into by pass when you take your foot off of it.. not like a Spinner or a roots...
Put your foot back into it ...it will go to boost again..so if you do not hot rod it you get good gas mileage. and don`t blow the heads off. I have comp. gaskets not the factory shim that was on it.. so the only way to make HP with the 4.7 would be to stroke it and change everything.. or just bolt on a blower blower on it and watch your max boost.. The Rods are Powdered metal. but GM uses these on some crate motors I have not hears of any throwing a rod from breakage as of yet.. My shift points are held below Red Line and at Max TQ. It will over rev. with the 3:92 gears again I was told that the rev. limiter can be bypassed very easy as it is part of the Neutual Lockout system.. I still have much reading to do on this little Eng. that could. and for the fellow ..it is not shamefull to be beatened by a well preped 4.7. I know 2 from around here who know this first hand.

Something is a miss. I have a blown 5.9 at 8lb with stock everything other than jba headers and cat back and I hit 292RWHP on the dyno with mild transitional detonation. 257RWHP with NO detonatin and timing retard added. Still above your figures. It is a 5.9 thought. Intercooler or injection will only help. Any compressed air will heat up the intake charge which sucks your HP away.

Something doesn't sound right at all.

I mildly modded, NO blower 4.7 will put out that HP/tq.

Did you say Jet Chip? I really trying not to laugh here. The other mods you have seemed cool though.

is the jet chip worth 245 for a 3.9L 91 dakota i dont want to blow the motor i just want to add some small bolt ons to get some more power out of the potentially powerful engine. i plan on a set of headers a chip and a new tb if i can find one. any help would be good
