Hey guys, help me pick which series flowmaster muffler to choose. I'm going to be doing a single in/dual out (prob 3"in/2.5" out?) and i want something that sounds really well on the 4.7L that might also help to increase power and gas mileage. I'm trying to decide mainly between a 40 series, 40 series delta flow, and 50 series suv performance. if anyone uses any of these on their truck, let me know what you think! thanks a lot!

hey i have a 4.7 too, i used the 40 series w/ 2.5" in and dual 2" its sounds GREAT and i gained some hp

seems like you want a louder muffler setup. i am about to buy a delta 50 for mine, non suv. the non suv is rated at less interior noise but close to the exterior noise of the delta 50 suv. leave the delta 40 for the mustang 5.0s and such, unless this is a play truck for you. it's a different story if you drive a civic to work and your dakota on sundays. but probably not the case
