Has anyone done PCM upgrades on this engine? Leach wont touch the '01's. I have the regular mods - Intake/exhaust. Need to go the next step to pull it all together. What works? Whats the best bang for the buck

i just put a jet chip in two hours ago, along with a air intake. sounds wicked. still lacking the high rpms i was looking for. for not much more than the chip you can buy a set of cams. i'm looking into that next.

Have you thought about doing a cam swap? The HO cams from the HO jeep work very well along with the Ho manifold. A fastman true 68 mm throttle body will help bring it all together. Kenne-bell can flash a 4.7 computer for a 2001. The only draw back is you have to send it to them for a few days.

Did you do any research on that 'JetChip' before you bought it. I'm assuming you have an auto trans, Maybe, just maybe it might change the shift points a little.
Dyno's have proven that-they make great paperweights.
