The M1 would work well-- it moves the hp peak up, matches the profile your cam has now (based on 1.7 ratio rockers)--- expect 10-15 rwhp increase, though a hair of low end loss (5-8 ft. lbs. of torque peak lost-- depends on the truck).

(2bbl M1 Intake Manifold: Non-EGR ( P5007852) is on extended back order, so I can only ship EGR versions-- don't worry, those work just fine, I have one myself on my 00-- comes with everything you need to install it, including the EGR block of plugs)

Let me know if you need any additional info.

Hey Sam, you ought to know the answer to this question on intakes: is there an equivalent M-1 for the 3.9l? I have no problems with the current beer barrel under my hood, but I sure like to looks of the M1 and how it would fit in the engine bay. If the 3.9 and 5.2 are supposed to be so similar (sans the extra 2 pistons), can an M-1 type intake be even possible (like hack off the end?)?

just curious.... thnx

Nothing available--- You could have a sheet metal intake made-- big $$$$--- you could have some running modification to the beer barrel to make it pull a little better--- or, if you are lucky, you can find a 4bbl- 3.9L intake manifold (Dodge made them, but discontinued; put fuel injectors into it, run an adapter for your 2bbl TB... etc. etc)
