my million pound durango with a 5.2 gets 13 city and 18 highway. I just changed to a higher flowing filter and synthetic oil. I hope to be able to get 20 highway... thats would be amazing for this thing.

Mark, you get 13 mpg around town with a lead foot? That's not too bad considering that I'm now getting just over 14 mpg driving around town like old lady! Damn, I may as well romp on it huh?

We just finished rebuilding a 1991 Dakota 4x4 with economy in mind. This truck has 280,000km on it and routinely got between 12-14mpg with a 318 in it.

After 800km since the rebuild we took it on it's first 'test' run and got just under 25mpg out of it. This is using a Competition Cams torque cam rated at @280hp. This number should improve somewhat yet after 20,000km or so.
