Subject: MSD or Accel Coil????
IP: Logged

Message:
The MSD coil has a max voltage of 35,000 volts, with primary resistance of 1.2 ohms, and a secondary resistance of 13.7k ohms. The Accel has 42,000 volts, with a primary resistance of 1.0 ohms, and a secondary resistance of 12.7k ohms. Just from the stats, which would be a better coil to use with 8.5mm wires? Thanks for the input guys!

What MSD coil are you looking at? The blaster 2 coil is 45,000 Volts primary resistance of 0.7 Ohms and secondary of 4.7K Ohms

The MSD Blaster SS does 48,000 Volts, primary resistance of 0.355 Ohms and secondary of 6.2K Ohms
