I have a F+B on my modded 5.2 and it woke up big time. It's anodized too. You wont be disappointed.

If you are on a budget APS and Fastman both make excellent TB's. I had a 68mm Fastman for a while (i have a 4.7L) and it worked great. If you are going for looks and you have the money to spen then go with the F&B. There's a real good chance you won't be disappointed in any of them. There is also an ebay store that sell TB's its called Sick TB's. They haven't been around a while but the prices are good and I haven't heard anything bad. I'd do the research of course. I think there are a couple of other threads in the V8 section regarding Sick TB's

I think that the F&B does not require that a core price (refundable on sending in your tb). If you factor that in, the prices amongst the sellers are closer.

Not having to send in your tb has an advantage if you have to have periodic clean air tests and your HC tend to be high. I have the F&B and I was at the max. allowable on the HC reading. Putting in a bigger cam would have easily pushed me over the allowable. I now put the stock tb back on at clean air test time and with the bigger cam my HC is half of what it was with the ported tb.

Don't forget about Sick TB's on that ebay store. Everything i've read about them so far has been good and they go for about $150 w/ no core charge. There is a thread on dakotausa.com talking them up.

Hey guys what about the TB's from Hughes Engines. They seem to be at a better price and flow better with smaller bores. The Billet throttle body with 50mm throttle plates flows more than a modified OEM Stage II throttle body with 52mm throttle plates.
Go here if you don't believe me.

Get my drift
I'm gunna buy mine from them, unless theres a better price.

I can tell ya that I sell the F&Bs at probably the best prices.

F&B come with complete new mounting hardware (stainless), complete installation instructions, a 30 day return policy (you don't like it, return it for a full refund), and a lifetime warranty. If you need tech support/questions answered-- you can contact me, or Bruce from F&B-- and we will respond promptly.

Performance wise, the F&B does out perform the 'other' billet brands out there--- Plus F&B was the original billet throttle body maker for the magnum trucks. The 'other' billet brands out there haven't the same amount of testing or track record that F&B does. F&B makes more sizes for more applications than any other company for the Mopar/Jeep lineup (48, 50, 52, 55x52, 58mm! 2-bbl & 68/70/72mm 1-bbl, 66/68mm Jeep 4.0L, 66/68/70mm 1992-2003 Viper, xxxmm 2004+ Viper soon!)

PLUS, they are built by members of the 'Online Dakota community'-- not some large corporation.

I also have some options for 50mm refurbished throttle bodies as well-- ones that were returned as part of an upgrade to 52 or 55x52s... Completely rebuilt and cleaned.
