I have an '87 Dakota, short box regular cab, lowered, ya know, looks like a really cool truck. It's a frickin 2.2 4cyl with a Holley 2barrel and it hardly runs! Ok its a 4 banger, and right now I'm gettin about 13 MPG. I guess I am a teenager and drive it kinda hard, but that carburetor sucks, has hardly any adjustments on it, and all this electric crap, it's like a wannabe fuel injection, which is why I don't understand why Dodge didn't just put fuel injection on it, I mean, the 2.2 cars of that year had fuel injection. I guess what Im saying is I'm looking for someone who has a new/rebuilt carb or a 3.9 V6 I can drop in it.

Go to the wrecker and pull a 2.2 turbo out of a Daytona or some such. Wiring harness, computer, turbo, manifolds etc and plop it into your Dak!

GET A TURBO!!! with 1 bar of pressure, a good spark plug and wires, lower temp. thermostats. I bet you that you will be surprise with your new performance.
