I have a 99 RT/CC and i really want to haul ass, is this lightning killer package really worth it? Or should I go the other route and just build it piece by piece?

How much money are you planning to spend to go fast? Will you want to supercharge it later or leave it n/a?
You can get that cc into the mid-low 13's n/a without juice too. Go take a look at www.dakotart.com and begin your research. I dont know much about the "L" killer package but it should guarantee your times in the high to mid 12s if its called the "Lightning-Killer"...Somehow I doubt that. Good luck

Lightnings don't run 12's stock? As far as I knew they were mid 13 trucks but I could be wrong.

I seen Lightnings run from 13.4 - 14.0 stock. The older 99s are 13.8- 14.3. Somewhere in there give or take.
Id go piece by piece.
