Will the tranny out of a 3.9 bolt up to any old 318 or 360? And will a 360 fit under the hood of a '94 Dak fairly easily?

trans will fit comparable year V8
BUT it may NOT stand up to that much power..
V8's go in OK
Just get the matching trans and be sure
to get the mounts with the V8

could i use a 44re trans(5.2L) with my 3.9L? it would last much longer, if it was put on "light" duty right? my tranny is fine, but if it does go i would like to put a beefier trans in....

? is right T-Beck, it'll fit, you just gotta watch to make sure the engine isn't too powerful for the tranny. A cheap way might be to get a better torque converter, either that or just get a tranny for that year/engine.
