Has anyone put a Kenne Bell supercharge on a 4.7 yet? If so, where did you get, how hard was it to install, how much of a gain did it give, and is the engine and auto transmision going to hold up?

I called Kenne Bell last October and they sent me a bunch of info for nothing. It was specific to the 4.7 Dak and Jeep 4.7 , you have to tell them what you have. It only took about 5 days to get it and worth the wait. I gave mine to my dad and havent seen it since , he just made Tim Allan grunting suonds and got this glazed look in his eye!

I put a Whipple SC in my Chevy 454SS years ago (essentially the same Swedish AutoRotor screw-charger as in Kenne Bell kit). It was an amazing piece of work, I gotta tell ya’. Typical GM, they drop a big block in a ½ ton, but let the thing breathe so crappy it could barely get out of it’s own way. The Whipple changed everything. Those folks claimed a 45-50% increase in Torque – and they weren’t lyin’. And with none of the surges and pinging and air hat blow offs and other crap I’ve read about on this board and the DML that seems to be typical to the Paxton-style SC. Since it’s always producing positive pressure, the engine is more powerful at all RPMs, not just when you floor it. No drama, no lag, just smooth, SILENT and instant POWER!!!
