i'm looking for information on an engine swap i plan to do when i get home from iraq to my 98 dodge dakota sport i know i'm gonna need a tranny and a wiring harnes and to change out the suspention but i'm droping the truck anyway if there are anyother things someone might think i might need of if u know where i might find some of the stuff i'm gonna need i could really use the intell well thanx to those who can get me some intell and thanx to those who tried

That's a huge change. But fortunatly it can be done with all stock parts. Engine and mounts, transmission and mounts, drive shaft, rear end, engine/transmission wiring harness, front suspension, front brakes, fuel system, cooling system.

Consider finding a wrecked donor, and then just swapping all the parts. That will be the cheapest and easiest way to do it.

Are you sure you want to do this? Have you considered a turbo? ;)

actualy i've had plenty of plans maybe droping 2 turbo's in it but i dout 2 will go but it has its possibilities 1 has been in thought since i got the truck along with many and many of other stuff to up grade proformance and cosmetic's of the truck well
