Too expensive, at least I think. I know of a company that is starting to make the SRT-10 style hood for the dakota

Seems a little pricy but I don't mind paying for a cool functional product. I wouldn't mind paying less but I don't like the SRT-10 style it's not nearly as cool as the shaker.

Don't buy from that link they aren't even the original manufacturer of that particular hood. They also put a $300 mark up on the last price I saw for it from the mfr. I wish I remembered the name of the mfr but I don't. Pro glass maybe?

I know who you are talking about Here but their site doesn't seem to work to well. A couple of years back they were doing a group buy at this site that never got enough interest. So far the link in my original post seems to be the only active site selling this mod. Wish I had some more choices, there is one on ebay but I think it was just as expensive if not more expensive.

The same hood appears here but for the 4.7 only they have a cheaper one for the 5.9/5.2 but it's not a shaker.

The original maker of the shaker hood was pro-glass. Pro-glass sold the molds to Keystone who is now the maker (www.keystonerestyling.com). I have a Keystone made shaker on my R/T and it is a great hood in both finish and funtionality. I got mine from John Mercedes of Southeast R/T. You can email him @ john@southeastrt.com
