ok,im trying to help my buddy buy an r/t,but we are having trouble finding them for sale.they are either too far away or too expesive.so,anyone in the texas area,okla,new mex,louisiana,willing to help out?we are in west texas but would be more than willing to travel to one of these areas to pick on up.
he prefers a club cab,decent miles,non molested,and everything in good working order.bank wont go higher than the blue book on the truck,and hes gonna pay the TTL out of pocket,so price is an issue.if anyone knows of one in their area,or could look,it would be greatly appreciated.give link or i will give email if one is found.
i know this is kinda stupid posting this on here but we are having trouble finding one!

Try www.dodge.com for Dakota/ used inventory. Enter some cities, say, 300 miles or less from where you live. If the Mopar dealer is Five Star (about 60% are), they can post inventory and window stickers. I found my '01 in 2001 100 miles away though dodge.com after the local dealer did a "search" and b.s. couldn't (or wouldn't!) find one. Good luck. Tell us what you find.

I found my '00 R/T with 9,200 miles on e-bay in January. I stuck a deal with the seller and only had to drive 3 hours to pick it up (same state). It didn't have a scratch on it and was under Kelly Blue book. Good luck, it's a great truck and a blast to drive.
2000 R/T CC, Amber Fire - Bone stock.

wow,amberfire,thats a great color.my 02R/T CC is graphite.its kinda funny,ive never seen another graphite R/T.which leads me to another question,does anyone know where i can find the production number for r/ts im this color?

theres a very clean looking black club cab
r/t at a used car lot on hwy 49 gulfport mississippi next to lowes. Has chrome r/t badges.
hows that for a useless post.

I found a website that posted some 'unofficial' production numbers and now I can't find it. I remember it said that (I think) 163 '00 Amber Fire CC units were made. All I know is that I've never seen one like it. If I run accross it, I'll post the address.

I have my second r/t for sale I wish you were close to here. it is 2000 club cab red with only 25k on it I am asking for around 15. To bad you are far away. I live in maryland.

I do not think it is. I know it is going on four years, but look at the prices of other 2000 dak r/t's out there and look at the miles. My dak has been well taken care of like my baby and has very low miles.

Maybe I got a really good deal. I bought my 2000 R/T CC in January with 9,200 miles on it and EVERY option except, maybe, leather for $14,000. I live in northern Indiana and it had never seen rain or snow. Unfortunately it has, now.
