Does anybody know if I can fit R/T rims on my 2 wheel drive '94 and still lower it a couple inches?

If you grind the outer lips on the upper controll arms for wheel clearance they will only scrape a little bit when you turn, the center caps wont fit on the front wheels either so you have to grind the sh!t out of 'em and hammer down the grease caps. I dont hink you would be able to lower it either, front wheel clearance is a big problem.
I know this because I put RT wheels on my '95 Dak a while ago. I took them off eventually and put the stock wheels back on.

There are some decent 6-bolt choices. Or you could convert to 5 on 4.5. 87-90 Dak rotors in the front and a rear from an 87-90, and you're all set.

Would R/T rims fit any better if you put a some kind spacer in there?

I think if you spaced them out, they would hit the fenders when you turn, the're really close to begin with. Plus they would stick out too much, it would look like a Cholo mobile

And I would want that. I was thinking just a 1/2 to 3/4 of and inch to get it away from the control arms and the grease caps and becouse of the different back spacing.

Hey i have a 94 dakota with r/t rims and one inch drop springs in the front...3 inch blocks in the back. No problems with clearances at all. the back once in a blue moon hits the fender lip..but only because i have a slightly wider 9 1/4 out of a 98 r/t. I am sure you will be and very happy with the r/t wheels. I keep trying to get my pics on the computer so i can post them..but in the meantime anything else you need just ask!! mike

What size tires do you run? Are they the same diameter as the stock wheels?

I put gen III rims on my gen II and had to put 1/2" wheel spacers on the front wheels. I had to use longer studs and had to drill the rotors to make them fit. It was not a very hard job.
