On a side note... Anyone have any interest in a "Dakota Assault" on the sand dunes? I thought it would be fun to get a group of us 4x4 Dak owners and make a trip to Glammis.

I'm planning a trip this summer like around the end of july, when I'm off from school for a couple weeks, to either glamis or a run down the Mojave Road haven't decided which but alot of that decision will be based on who I can get to caome with me. Right now we have my truck (2002 quad cab, body lift, 33X12.50 goodyear MT/R, hanson bumper and a handful of other goodies); my neighbor (Stock 98 4X4 CC) and my friend's RAM (5 inch lift, 35X12.50 Procomp Mud terrian). Decent group but, need a lot more people like ten to make a glamis trip a lot of fun. Although I've never done the mojave road before and it's supposed to be a lot of fun. Let me know if anyone is interested and which trip you would rather do glamis or the mojave road I don't really care I just want to get a big group together.

Someone sent me a photo of a green body lifted Dak with what looked like a Hanson bumper but it was a side view. It is a great looking truck!!!

nah mine's blue. I don't have anypictures yet but hopefully soon. For sure this summer. see the problem is this my truck isn't actually at school with me right now. I go to the Air Force Academy so I can't have a car till I'm a junior. I've got like 7 weeks and I'm gonna bring her out to join me. I've got some old pictures without the bumper, roll bar and goodyears if you wan tto see them. I'll have to look but I might have one with the bumper that I can post.

The tires on there were 31x1050 Pathfinder AT's dropped to about 11 pounds of pressure. I can't wait to go back and see how the 32x1150 BFG Mud Terrain KM's I just bought do.

Actually I borrowed my friends compressor to air up and it sucked!! It was a little tiny thing and it took about 10 to 15 minutes to air up each tire. I am definately on the hunt for a good electric air compressor for a reasonable price. A friend of mine just ordered a "Quick Air" compressor that goes under the hood and is belt driven that is supposed to kick A$$ but it was almost $300
