Has anyone tried these yet? And if so what do they think. Also the MSR's?

I do not know about the DTR's but the MSR's are a very good tire. My brother has this tire on his 3/4 ton Ford. The tire does very well in snow and is pretty good in mud. On the highway it is not to noisey. Note he has the tires sipped. I would say overall it is better then a all terrain tire, while not as aggressive as a mud terrain. One final note I am planning on putting them on my 2002 Dakota.

A friend of mine had DTRs on his toyota 3 years ago. Don't know if they've changed the compound since then, but his wore out pretty fast.

My dad is running the MSRs on his '98 3/4 ton Ram. A pretty beefy tire. I got the same impressions as RM/MI... except I think they are pretty darn quiet. I hope to be installing the 285/75R16 on my truck.

Oh, forgot to mention that in the time my friend had them, he really liked them.

i have DTRs on my truck and they are good tires they clean themselves very well and they give very good traction when they are brand new they have a good sound to them going down the road and they last about as long as any other mud tire
