 Subject: 4x4 popping noise?

Has anyone had a problem with their front end making a popping noise while in 4wheel drive? I hadn't gone wheeling since I got my new ball joints, then about a 2 months later I got the bdy lift and the 33s and had to try them out. That was when I noticed the noise.

i have a 2002 stock rims, tires, and lift
i go fourwheeling in soft dirt at the ranch, the only popping noise or weird noise i have ever hears is when i'm in 4 wheel and i have my wheels turned more than half and they make weird noises on the bumps, i guess i'm supposed to keep my wheels strait all the time, i'm not too familiar with the way the 4x4 works up in front....
