Hey, I was wondering what the biggest tires I will be able to fit under my stock 99 5.2 liter 4x4 are. I am not opposed to trimming and I have already gotten about 1.25 inches of lift on the torsion bars(they have more left but I don't want to stress them). I have the stock 15 x 8 rims but would also not be opposed to new rims with different back spacing, lifting the rear is no problem with either add a leaf or blocks. Is there anything else I can do to the front to lift it for cheap(I have full machine shop and welding rig) I still need a fully functional truck for on and off road purposes. I am only getting bigger tires so I can offroad more of the difficult trails out here in colorado. Thanks for your time

I have a stock truck 99 4x4 and I'm running pro comp All Terrains 32x11.50x15. Minor rubbing at the sharpest when turing both directions on the frame. There are a lot of people who got the 2 or 3 inch body lift and are running 33x12.50x15 with no problems. So I'd not bother with the 32 and get the 33s and go with a $200-$300 lift which is pretty cheap. I haven't lift yet..cause I'm saving for the whiplash 10in so I can run 38s.
I have a pic with those 32s at

Well, where are your tires rubbing, the frame, or the inner wheel wells. Wheel wells are mearly plastic and easy to get ride of, and if it is the frame then a body lift wouldn't help anyway.

Bill,

How do you like the Pro Comp A/T's? I am getting tires in a couple of weeks and am strongly considering the Proc Comps.
