HI all 2wd GenI Daks out there,
On another post concerning lift spindles, I asked about someone making lift spindles for 1987-1990(1991?) 2wd Dakotas. A guy named Richard said he would be willing to design and manufacture them IF he could get enough inrtest in the product. So what I am asking you is if your intrested in these spindles, or every think you will be, please send an email to richardmomeni@hotmail.com
and request he look into making this happen. PLease help me out here. My 1990 2wd Dak has 5inches of lift and I can only run 31x10.50s With spindles, I am hoping to run 33x12.50s. Thanks for your time. Have a good one!

Wouldnt Gen I spindles also work on Gen II's? I thought the only difference on the front suspensions was 5 lug rotors?...

How much are we talking here?

An how did you get 5" lift outof your 2wd?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
I am not sure about the spec.s on Gen I and II spindles. Richard has said they are likely similar but he will also probably have to check on it in depth.
On my truck, I have a 2in suspension lift and a 3in body lift. I also have 2in shackels on the rear to give me a little boost. This gives me 5in. of lift. The 2in susp. was factory made. The 3in body was a trailmaster 4x4 lift customized to run on my 2wd. Thanks for your intrest in these spindles. I hope to see you write richard on this. Thanks.
