ok, well, i just had my truck in to get a new tranny cooler replaced (almost $300, sits between the rad. and the a/c evaporator, ack!) and asked them to check my 4 wheel drive, since it's been making a loud clicking under load in 4wd, and they showed me that the chain in the transfer case is rattling, and said it's shot, ugh! anybody know whether i should rebuild (if possible) or find a used one, and i so, what about swapping in one out of a bigger truck? any help would be great, thanks

oh yeah, my bad.... it's a '94 ext. cab, 4x4 (obviously), with the 318 v8 in it.
