I have a 00 Club Cab 4x4 4.7 SOHC V8 witn th 45rfe trans, I also work for a Dodge Dealer in their Parts dept. I did not like the shcoks that came with my truck,(one sales book I saw said Gabrille made them) So I purchased some Monroe reflex, main reason was no one had any Rancho's on the shelf and I was going out of town on vaction. They seem to work great, they are way stiffer then OEM and I am happy with them.

I know it seems that none of the after market companys are fitting there shocks on the Dakotas, all they gota do is fit them and tell us what fits,is that too much to ask?Mines a 01 r/c 4x4 4.7 DOHC :) 5 speed and its almost a year old now and still not much from the aftermarket, its kinda sad

I like my bilsteins. Firmer than stock, but not harsh. A little expensive, but not as bad as the RSX 9000's...but then again the bilsteins aren't adjustable.
