Subject: Snapped shock bolt

Has anyone out there had any trouble with breaking the bolt that mounts the shock absorber to the lower control arm? Well the bolt on the passenger side sheared clean off this weekend out in the sand dunes. I guess the Dakota is not meant for dune buggy use.

Mine did the same thing on the drivers side while off roadin the other day. 1 week later the pasenger side shock lost its top bushing. Both were very easy to fix.

That sucks. I replaced both bolts with stronger aftermarket bolts. Hopefully won't happen again. Not a big deal I guess.
