On a 2wd... probably a 31". Mine is a 2wd QC as well and I'm installing the Fabtech 3" lift with a 3" body as soon as the parts get in. With that and some other ingredients (coil spacers and 2" shackles) I will be able to run 33"s.

As far as a 6" lift... the next step would be a spindle drop (with 3" coils) which would give you that extra 3", a total of 6 inches. However, with the Dakota it's not a priority for Fabtech to design the spindles right now. ): If you can find a shop that is willing to custom design a new spindle for you... you'll be set!! But that is harder than I thought it would be. So its body lift time!! ;-)

It takes about $50,000 to get a set of spindles from the drawing board to production. You've got to get them drawn, build the molds, and pay the foundry the minimum setup fee for the new mold runs. It ain't cheap to setup... but once the molds are ready to go it only costs about $50 bucks to make a set of spindles.
