I have been looking around for lift kits for my 03 quad cab and I am being told that nobody makes them. Is this true? If so what is different about this year? Im a machinist so I want to see if its something I could fab myself.

In addition to being a machinist, you must also be a mechanic. Once you are both, you will be able to fab a lift (suspension or body) for your pickup.

So they dont make lift kits for that year then? And I dont want to fab a whole suspension, I want to buy a suspension thats close to what I need and then make parts if necessary.

I think that you can use a 02 lift kit but you have to change the Front brakes to an 02 set up

Doetsch Shocks makes a lift kit for 4x2. If its a 4x4 you'd have to use a 02 kit and modify your front brakes.

Anyone know for sure that all you have to do is change the 03 & 04 brakes to an 02 in order to use the 02 lift kit? Thanks.....
