I believe they both come on when your brake fluid is low.

Is your speedometer working ? These lights can come on when the rear speed sensor fails.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way

When they both come on, there should be a code stored in the ABS computer that ONLY the dealership can read because they are the only ones with the correct scan tool.

Like what Kowalski stated, it is possibly the sensor in the rear axle which is fairly simple to replace. You just have to be careful to not break it off while pulling it out of the axle. Apparently that is easy to do! lol

When both of my lights came on, it was that sensor but the speedometer would work except below like fifteen miles per hour, the speedometer wouldn't work.

is.... is there any ideas on how to fix it and where to get the parts
from for either the sensor or the pump. All ideas are welcome

To know for sure what the lights are on for, you have to scan the ABS computer for the code. I'm pretty positive that only a dealer can do that for you.

For parts though, i've had good luck with..........

www.rockauto.com

They are great and you cannot beat there prices.

You don't have to go to a dealer but you will need to find a shop that has a scan tool with ABS capabilities. The Snap-On Solus scanner I have at work can do Dodge ABS codes. Like ewraven said there should be some code/s stored in the computer with the ABS light on. If your fluid isn't low then you need to check for codes.

I'm in the process of fixing the problem right now on my '99 (thanks to alot of info from Kowalski on the V6 dakota page) I've had the problem since I bought the truck about 2 years ago, and the only long term effect I've had is it warped my rotors... I know that sucks but keep in mind it took 2 years for it to even be noticeable, but I would recommend saving yourself the trouble and fixing it now. Oh, and my lights only came on at 55mph and the speedo worked fine, so their are different variations of the same problem...
