 Subject: 03 4x4 Light?

I have an '03 4.7 V8 4x4 AWD. I was just having some fun in the snow the other day and felt I needed the 4WD option. I got the truck back in the summer, so this is the first time I was able to use it. To change from AWD to 4H is done through a switch, not the lever.
When I turned the switch to 4H, there was no light on the dash. Where most other trucks have a light indicating you're in 4WD. Is this normal? Does anyone else with the turn switch not get a light in the dash?

There is no light up on the dash. but a little light should light up next to the 4x4 option on the switch

Yep. look for a little light at the switch position.
