anybody from the nj area know of any good offroading places? preferably where its legal. i'm looking for trails, nothing to heavy, my truck is tock suspension wise, but something that is fun and i'll get my truck nicely covered and all that good stuff. i live in Andover in northwest nj and am more than willing to travel to PA or NY.

Break out a map and look at Atsion where Atsion Lake it. Across the Stree is the Ranger Station and a ton of 4 wheeling with mud and such. If you want more sand then mud look over by Warren Grove and Forked River. If you want a healthy mix, check out Jenkins and Oswego area. There's a ton more, but you'll get the idea when you start looking in the places I mentioned.

If you are going to come down to just check it out a little, I'd recommend going in at that ranger station onto Quaker Bridge Road and just taking whatever trails you want. You almost can't get lost, and there's a lot to whet yor appetite to return.
