That's a 33" tall and 11.2"wide tire.
33 might be a bit too tall for your truck without some kind of lift in front. I just put 275/75-16 (32" tall) on my '04 4x4 and that leaves only about 1/4 inch clearance between tire and lower corner of the front bumper in a turn.
I've read on this forum that some have used 33's with just a torsion bar adjustment. Maybe some of them will chime in.

33s are the biggest thing i can fit on my 99 4x4 with the Rancho 3in lift with out rubbing. I could probably fit 34s with only a little rubbing. I dont think you are going to be able to steer with 33s and no lift even if you do crank the torsion bars. Have read that you need at least a 3in body lift and also the torsion bars cranked to fit 33s. The bigger tires will hit the backs of the front fender openings with no lift.

You could always trim the fender abit to clear those tires... be aware that you'll be putting alot more strain on the drivetrain.. with that big of a tire!

Yep. With 33' tires, you'll be wanting 4.56 gears.

You can move the bumper out a little but that wont help on the frame side. I have a 3"BL and they are real close when the wheels are locked. I think the would rub bad on stock. Also as mentioned, if you have AT you will lose your OD. Any slight grade it will hunt gears bad. Mine doesnt with 4.56. and I have the 4.7.

Good Luck CC

My transmission and over drive still works perfect with 33s and 3.55 gears. It will still spin both tires through 1st gear flooring it off the line. I think it even helps me off road because of the extra wheel speed in first gear. Keeps my tires cleaned out in the mud. I do wish i had the optional 3.92 gears though just to make it a little more fun on the road after 2nd gear (it takes a long time to get from 70 to 85 in 3rd gear).

I agree with Kota Kid, my 04 QC has 3.55 gears with 33" tires and I experienced some loss in power but with the overdrive off it helps enough. Obviously I wish I had a better gear ratio, but 3.55 works for now.

But no way are you fitting 33" tires without a lift or major modifications.

I have a 2004 4x4 std cab dakota with the torsion bars cranked. I spaced my front bumper forward about 2" forward with flat steel brackets. With the stock wheels I have 285/75-16 super swamper thornbirds and they do not rub except maybe in the tightest of turns but actually it is not bad because I have taken it 4-wheelin and it works Great! These babies pull through some mud!

I have a Set of 285 75R 16 Toyo Open country MTR's on my 02 QC. I had to do a little (and I mean little) of the plastic bumper trimming and I trimmed some of the fender well up ( You can avoid doing that by using a heat gun and just smooth out the ridge in the front wheel wells and I also pulled the rear fender well back a little at the bottom. The only rubbing I get is on the right side in full lock against the frame sometimes. I thought about the BFG's but wanted a more aggressive tread and found out the Toyos are actually quieter than the BFG's. I did do a torsion lift since my dealer decided to lower the high side when I took it in to get the front end level (on a 4WD !!!) so I raised it back up to factory height then just decided to keep going :). The alignment is fine, just make sure to jack up the front end before doing the lift and you will be fine.

2002 QC 4.7 AWD AT, Powertrax No-Slip locker, torsion lift.
