hey where did you get the front suspension done or did you do the fab yourself? I was looking to get more travel and a wider stance for my dak since i only have the fabtech 3" right now. This is my truck

That looks like a hell of a truck so far. I have 3 hella 4000's on the way too but they have been backordered for a month. i have the 5.2L with K&N FIPK2, AEM throttle body spacer, edelbrock headers, flowmaster super 40 muffler, high flow cat, fms 19# injectors and msd 6al ignition box with 8.5 wires. i have an electric fan ans shift kit sitting around that i need to put in along with a 180 thermostat do you think you might be able to E-mail me the math on that front suspension so that i can see about having a front fabbed for my truck, between my cousin and i we can make most anything.

its one of those things where ive got the math done but we still have to cycle it and test it. plus there going to be some major frame cutting and a new mounting location for the lowers

oh ya for sure that's to be expected with the lowers. Did you use uniballs in it or stick with balljoints. I hope your cycling testing goes well whenever you get around to it.

here is what i have done with my rear suspension

it works amazingly well and all it took was some 6inch bolts and another shock for each side. it raised the truck another inch in the rear and its taken all the abuse i can throw at it with out bottoming out or breaking. this is going down trails at 80mph. truck seems to handle better on road as while with a much more predictable off-road capability.

just a few ?

how much travel are you guys getting out of the front end?

what shocks do you guys recommend?

what have you guys done with your rear suspension?

----

i have an idea for the front of the truck but it would take so cutting and welding.

That looks like an interesting setup. I know some guys that did that with some of their lifted chevys but when we went to jump them on the dunes they snapped. Front travel I don't know it's close to stock maybe an inch or 2 more but it has more total uptravel but less total downtravel. I have yet to bottom it out even though i have jumped it about 30 feet distance and about 2 1/2 feet high according to my bro's freinds watching. Rear is stock and for shocks right now i have fabtech but i have been considering upgrading to some fox 2.0 non-res shox up front and making some shock towers for the rear and running fox 2.0 res shocks with some custom deavers. But that's at least a few months off.

here is an old video from last year. jump(slow motion) was a bad angle but measured at 6' high and about 85' distance.
